As An Adult, I Still Prefer YA Books

I’m a twenty-something bookworm, and yes, I can be found in the YA section in the bookstore because I’d prefer reading about kids and teenagers than people my age (or older).

I think it’s because I have been having existential crises since I stepped out of college. I know, I should be halfway into figuring out what I want to do with my life; the problem with being such a fan of different worlds is that there is just so much that you want to do, but you don’t have the time or the resources to do so.

I mean seriously, I still want to go to Hogwarts.

Other than that, I think it’s the lack of good books in my childhood that I’m still trying to make up for at twenty.

If there is a random dude out there with a library as big as Beast’s in “Beauty and the Beast” (Disney version, not the one with Kristin Kreuk) will you marry me? haha.

Kidding aside, I will have to go back to the book I’m reading. With the pace I’m going, I’d be lucky if I finish my 75-book goal.

I would love to know what you think
